Sowing Patience is an environmental construction that embodies the nurturing interaction between a mother and her son, who are reflected in the background of the photographic diptych. To document this interaction, I strictly used materials that were native to the site to encompass the practice of land interventions and spatial alterations. As the land eventually returned to its natural state, this assemblage was also a practice of ephemeral art. This conceptual art practice was adopted from Hamish Fulton and Andy Goldsworthy.
