In Marfa, Texas there is a division between two groups of people — the artist culture and the residents. 

Studying hand drawn cartographers, such as Abi Darker, I made handmade stamps and drew all the individual art establishments. For the houses, I wanted to visually communicate the remote and aloof nature that the of the residents of Marfa have adopted. In comparison, the art establishments are detailed and polished for they attract the most attention from tourist all over the world.
